Covid-19 safety procedures and protocols.

Updated: Mar 1, 2021

We are following strict government guidelines to make our clinic and hands on treatments Covid secure

Before you come in for your appointment we will need to run a few checks:

Pre-Appointment checks:

-Have you, or has anyone you have been in close contact with, shown any signs or symptoms associated with coronavirus

-Have you tested positive or had treatment for COVID-19 within the last two weeks?

-Please confirm that you are feel well, have no fever and have normal taste and smell sensation.

-I reserve the right to take the temperatures and/or refuse treatment of anyone attending an appointment for any reason I feel is a health risk.

-Due to stringent cleaning practices, please do not arrive earlier than 5mins for your appointment.

If you are a first-time client, your pre-session consultation will take place via the phone or video-conferencing. A consultation form may be emailed for completion prior to the visit.

If you are an existing client, there will be a short update consultation at the time of booking to see how you have been since pre-lockdown and whether you have had or been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 symptoms.

Initially, if you are considered a high-risk client, it may not be possible to massage you at this time. Those of concern would be anyone over the age of 75, pregnant people, those with lung conditions or the immunocompromised, in these cases we need to take advice from your primary doctor/midwife

All consultation & consent documents can be signed electronically or agreed by email

Please bring your own water bottle or any fluids as drinks will not be provided

When you arrive, you will be required to take off your shoes, wash your hands and/or use the sanitiser provided and walk into the practice room without touching anything if at all possible. There will be a minimum of 15 minutes cleaning and sanitising time between clients

Cushions have been removed from the practice room other than those with wipe-clean covers which are sanitized after each use.

The massage table will have been thoroughly disinfected before and after each client.

I will be using personal protective equipment (PPE), which will include a mask, visor, apron and maybe gloves.

Patients must wear a mask during treatment. Please bring your own mask

Payment ideally should be made prior to the appointment via Online Booking or by calling reception(Triyoga) to avoid touching cash.

This policy is subject to change at any time in accordance to government guidelines and is adhering to the last published advise on “close contact services” updated 5th November 2020. HERE

Whilst we are doing everything we can to mitigate the risk, your full support and compliance are therefore required to ensure we can keep the level of risk to a minimum. Thank you for your co-operation.
